If you’re interested in being a part of a great group of folks that are dedicated to making the neighborhood a better place, volunteer now as a Block Captain for the fabulous Faircloud Neighborhood. We currently have 23 Block Captains on the team with one opening waiting to be filled by you. We’re also looking for “Block Lieutenants” to provide backup support when a Block Captain is unavailable
Faircloud Block Captains Roles & Responsibilities
Ideal attributes:
- Loves Faircloud Neighborhood
- Desires to make a meaningful impact in the community
- A hard worker that takes ownership of their area
- Organized and responsive, ability to see a project to completion in a timely manner
Role Responsibilities:
- Available to serve 3 times a year when voting or other neighbor initiatives are needed
- Coverage area range from 6 – 30 homes (there is flexibility in determining the number of homes within an area)
- During the 3 serving initiatives: available to attend kickoff meeting prior to each initiative to receive formal instructions (meeting is typically an hour tops) and be politely responsive to periodic emails that may be dispersed throughout serving initiatives.
- Time commitment is approximately 5-10 minutes per home
